Hi,
This is a problem posted somewhere before, not sure if there is a solution.
Basically, I'm using Milonic menu position relative inside a table. In Netscape 6, with a CLEAN CACHE, upon initial page load, the menu will not appear. When refreshed the menu will appear. Is this a bug?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi - I'm still having this problem, I'm wondering if someone can tell me if this is a menu bug or if I am implementing it wrong. I'm using RC 28.
Thanks...happy holidays.

Less then 0.4% of the pages are viewed with Netscape 6 so why not implement the menu and place a javascript that says, if Netscape 6 refresh after 3 secs. Not a very beautiful solution but it will do the job.

I agree with you but many people here uses Netscape 6 and the idea that it is a tiny minority doesn't carry weight.
I don't know how to make the javascript you specified.
What I want to know is - is this problem a result of my error or is it a menu bug?

Hi,
I'm just bumping this message up in the hopes somebody knows the answer. I do not know whether this is my incorrect implementation of the code or a real bug in the menu. Any ideas?
Thanks.

In case it helps anybody else, I think I have a solution to this problem. When embedding a milonic menu in a table cell, you cannot put the menu in an external linked .js file - the script has to be typed directly into the cell. This has fixed the problem on initial page load in Netscape 6.
The fixed page is at: http://www.citytech.cuny.edu/mm6.html
My test page still crashes on Netscape 4 for mac os 9. Also, the menu does not show up at all on IE 4.5 on Mac OS 9.
