Required Milonic Link

I downloaded the free sample vertical menu to use on my personal site and i'm thinkin about looking into a license for my ministry site as well.

(backround info outta the way)

My question is about the required link back to milonic. I have no problem with leaving the link on the menu because you guys definitely deserve the credit for this menu. It's amazing.. My question is can i move it? As a default it's the second item on the main menu. Can i move it into a submenu for a webmasters section?

If I understand it correctly, the "Milonic Menu" link you refer to appears only in unlicensed versions. You cannot change the position of the link. According to Milonic, legal use of the system, even for free licenses, requires that you apply for and obtain a license. If you are a non-profit organization, you can apply for a free license. Once licensed, you can download updates that do not include the "Milonic Menu" link (although you must still provide a link back to the Milonic site). You should be aware that, due to a large number of these requests, Milonic has recently had to institute a small fee (5 pounds) to cover the administrative costs of checking out such applications, to verify non-profit status. You can read more about that in this thread. You will also find more information about free licenses, application procedures, and license terms on this page and this one.

Hope that helps,

Kevin

I have a professional license for version 3 and have been waiting for v5 to get up and running.

After logging in and downloading version 5, I still get the Milonic link as my second menu item.

What am I doing wrong?

After logging in (before the download), do you see a line with something about you are registered and the forced link will not be included? If not, contact marty __at__ milonic.com and explain the situation. I am not sure, however, if a v3 registration carries over or if you need to re-register. She will know.
