Problem in Netscape 7.1 with pagebgcolor (V5 RC26)

We are a non-profit organization with a Milonic license, now using Version 5 RC 26.

Everything works perfectly in IE6, but in Netscape 7.1 I have a problem with pagebgcolor. It works for the submenus and sub-submenus, but not for the main menu (which does not change color). I see that this does work for Milonic's menu in both IE and Netscape, so it's clearly my problem. (I had this same problem with RC 25 and earlier ones.)

My URL is http://www.chai.org.il/_chai_sites/en/compassion/compassion_overview.htm
Please note that this site is very much a work in progress - it has not been released yet. The only actual topics are the subtopics under Compassionate Living: Our Clothes, Animal Experimentation, and Animal Legislation in Israel - and the sub-subtopics under them. (Everything else leads to Google.)

Can anyone help me solve this?

Related question: I'm developing a very large site, and unfortunately it won't be possible to have every page listed on the dropdown menu. I find the pagebgcolor tracking feature to be invaluable. But on those pages that are not on the menu, not only do I lose that great functionality, but it will be confusing for users when there will suddenly be no change to the tracking color on the menu at all. I hope you will consider developing the tracking capability for menu items that are the parents (and grandparents) of the unlisted child pages (I'm afraid I'm not explaining this very clearly). Someone else wrote to this forum earlier: "Could we maybe secretly list the pages of the site in the menu_data.js file and not have them displayed, but keep the navigational highlight?" I second that request!

Thank you so much for this brilliant menu.

I figured it out myself (finally): a missing # before the color code!

(As usual, IE was forgiving, but Netscape was not.)

Glad you got it.

You might also want to move up - we're now at RC31.
