Form Object Placement

Hi there,
For the old version 3 menu - I always had to make sure that my search boxes and other form objects were not in the way of the dropdowns, as form objects would always appear above the menu in some browsers.
I've been looking on the site this morning to find any reference to this in version 5 - to see if it's been fixed, or if the "hide the DIV" trick has been updated...but I can't find any information.
Does this mean that version 5 has a fix built in...so it's no longer an issue? Or is it that newer browsers are smarter and don't need a fix?
I still have clients who need designs to work in 4.x browsers. Can anyone give me any menu version 5 info about hiding form objects?
Thanks,
Jason.

Hi Jason,
The hidediv option is reportedly slated for implementation at some point, although I hae no idea when. In the meantime, you could try looking at this thread and this one.
