Hi all,
I am developing a site and am using Milonic menu, it's great. It works exactly as I want in all browsers except for Netscape 4.79... Anyway, I could not find the exact same problem specified here...
What is happening is the menu is not getting loaded on the page the first time you hit it. When you navigate to another page within the site and then come back to the first page it is displayed... I can't post the link because they\re isn't one yet...
Any help would be awesome...

Quick question... are you sure it won't eventually be displayed on the initial page? How long have you waited for it to appear? I ask only because I've seen instances where it takes an unexpectedly long time for the menu to appear in NS4.7x.

I am having this same problem with Netscape 6 and Opera 5 at:

Basically, the first time the page is hit with an empty browser cache, the menu will not display. When the page is reloaded, the menu will display.
Strange.

Hi,
Just tried it with Netscape 4.03 and Netscape 4.8 and it appeared fine.
Netscape does leak memory and also leaves rouge processes running so a reboot normally fixes things.

well it doesn't matter now...

I was informed today that we are not going to support older Netscape versions, including 4.79... As a developer that's good news... Some day we won't have to worry about all this cross browser crap... I hope...
kevin3442, it just won't load the first time I hit the page, I waited for a while but it still did not appear. If I reload the page it does....
Thanks all for the help..
