Can't set the backround color as transparent in version 4

If i put a comment before the statement ("//") or put "transparent" i get a white color instead of transparency.
Please can you fix it ? It was working fine in version 3.xxx

try setting the color to "none", this was included in v4 for Netscape 4 compatibility
