swapimage help

I know this has been asked around but i havn't seemed to get a straight answer.

I have a vertical menu using images and image rollovers. i am using swapimage to do the rollover but i want the image to stay in the over state as you rollover the sub menu, is that possible?

also, on a different note, http://www.aveda.com/home.asp has a cool slide in/ slide out effect. can that be done with this script?

Hi,

In version 3, the swapimage simply won't persist after the cursor leaves the menu item. I've thought of some ways to code around it, but it just didn't seem worth the effort. I seem to recall that this was one of the features to be supported in version 4, so you might want to try that.

Also don't know of any way to achieve the sliding effect in version 3 but, again, you might want to investigate version 4.
