Cannot link to a network path?

When i want to add an url like \\server1\report\report1.pdf, the first characters disapears
For instance :
addmenu(menu=["ing_trans",
,,125,1,"",style1,,"left",effect,,,,,,,,,,,,
,"Link","\\server1\report\report1.pdf target=_blank","",,1
])
return in the adress bar:
http://sitename/server1eporteport1.pdf

Can someone help me please?
