swapimage not swapping when live

I built an image-based menu using DHTML version 3.3.19. On mouseover, the images should swap from gifs with light backgrounds and dark lettering to dark backgrounds with light lettering. Works perfectly when previewed in my browser, but when live, the images do not swap. The gifs are about 1k each. Can someone please look at the page and let me know what I've done wrong? Here is a sample of the syntax:

,"<img src=background.gif border=0>","show-menu=background","# swapimage=background_over.gif;offfunction=undefined;",,1
