New to Menu4; Using Dreamweaver 4. General Questions

Menu 4 is cool! I have seen some sites that use it and am looking forward to learning it.
Has anyone tried Menu 4 with Dreamweaver 4 (in particular in a template or Library item)? My first few attempts failed. Not using a template worked.
Is there web page or site out there with a more detailed description of the parameters? Perhaps the Milonic site has more. I am looking for more than the comments in the code. Some of the parameters confuse me! (Doesn't take much some days!).
I know I have a lot of reading and practicing ahead of me
Any thoughts are appreciated.
If any are interested in a little email to help me through, that would be great.
