background flashes with dark background color

When I set the background color of my content page to a dark color (or anything else than white) I get a white flash when I click on a link from te menu (when the new page loads)
Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

I had this problem too - Andy recommended that you move the menu script tags down into the BODY instead of the HEAD of your html page.
Hope this helps, as it fixed mine!
