OnMouseOver versus Pulldown menu

Hi,

Moving (or pointing) the mousecursor over a menu item results in a pulldown menu. From here you can move the mousecursor downwards. So far, so good.

Moving the mousecursor back (upwards) to the main item, the pulldown menu disappears and comes back. The time gap is 1 or 2 milliseconds. I was wondering if there is a solution for this phenomenon.

If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate.
