Its me again Andy!
Me, along with one of my really good friends(seems like hes gunna code the next Linux) was thinking about making a program that you download then lets you use a GUI to generate the code for the Milonic Menu. Let me know what you think, if you think it would be good, talk 2 me on msn: fuji897 __at__ hotmail.com so we can chat more about this.
All we really need is detailed information about most of what can be done with the Menu(some I already know). All we ask is when its done, is a credit note linking to my developement site.
Once we get all the information needed for the program, it should take about a full week to code it and test it.
Just some quick ideas for it is to have a save/load feature that will load a previously made script, and still be able to edit/modify it.
We will need the algorithm of the script, in a coders POV. Like, you will have an A. Horizontal Menu, or B. A Verticle menu. Then we configre the stuff from their using drop down menus along with radio buttons alloowing you to add more menues and change the menu color, font, style ect..
Imo, this is rox. Gimmie a message on msn.
Milonic Menu Builder

Andy already has a product much like you describe. It currently creates menus for the previous version of the menu. I am sure there will be a newer version of the builder on the horizon, but its tough to have a builder for the menu when you don't know what its final capabilities, attributes, and structure is going to be. Once v5 is finished, then I am sure it will begin to move up the to-do list. Check it out.

Yea, he does have that. However, that is very complicated, and very slow to build a full menu.
This would be an .exe file, containing the script, that will Generate the Code after someone defines a couple of variables. It will allow you to "add" an effect to menu, and change the variables all by using a drop down box. Similar to the idea of the menubuilder, but millions of times faster, and a LOT easier to use.

Oh I gotcha. Well, if Andy deems it worthy, then by all means do it. It may help improve code cleanliness and syntax for those people getting started with the menu. Personally I like getting my hands dirty in code but i think its a good idea. You could probably get started with it by using the layout code hes got for the samples. All your menu should do it create the menu array file. I would implement the attributes he uses in the samples as best you can, and then when they are finalized, at least you'll only have to make slight changes to the code.
