Ok i have a huge problem with the menu

i have pasted it in my header but the arrows don't show

here is my code

now i have uploaded the arrow files to the same directory as my meny files so i hope someone can help me because i don't like the red X'es

Without being able to see your site (can you post a URL?), I'll take a guess... You say you put the image files in the same directory where the menu files are located. That's the problem. It must be the case that your html files are located in a different directory than the menu files (or else it would work). The arrow image file names, e.g., arrow.gif, in your js code do not include a path. You are thinking that the image would therefore be loaded from the same path as the .js file... but that ain't so. Think of it this way. The html file defines the bulk of the page. The browser loads it first. The html file, in turn, may source in other files like .js files, where you no doubt had to specify the path to the .js file in your <script> tag, because the .js file was located in a different path than the html file. It's the same with loading images! When the browser loads an image into the page, and there is no path specified, then the browser will use the path where the html file is located as the default path.

So, you have two choices. (1) Relocate the images to the same directory where the html files are. This, however, is not the best approach if you end up having a site where html pages are coming from different directories. (2) specify the path to the image file (same path as your menu scripts at present).

Also, if you are really using 3.3.19, you might considering updating to 3.5.15 or even going to the next major upgrade, which is version 5, release candidate 4.

thanks for the reply but there is another problem, i do not use html files, but .php files.

But you might be right because i put the code of the menu on my header.html
