Printing page locks Explorer

I am using menu version 3.3.19.

I try to print a web page (http://sitechservices.com) using IE 5.5 or IE6 under windows 98.

Internet Explorer quits immediately and though Windows Explorer doesn't quite lockup it does restart and my tray icons are all gone! I have to restart Windows.

I do not get this problem on other web pages but it does happen on 2 different PCs!

Any ideas?

First - update your menu :!: 3.5.15 is current, which puts you way behind. While you're at it I would suggest getting a license as Andy requests of everybody (didn't see a license number embedded in your code).

I printed your site with no problems, although it was under IE6.0.2800 and XP.

Have to ask - what's with all the <br> and <p>&nbsp;</p> in your code? IMHO it makes the page look pretty bad. Waste of space.

Actually, I did buy a license I just didn't copy ALL the menu code into my original message. Also, I cannot be sure I didn't buy the license AFTER I started testing the menu system and then never updated the menu. (To get that out of the way!)

OK, I will upgrade. I assume wherever I download the files there'll be instructions on the procedure.

I too found some machines that print my site pages w/o error. I need more machines to test it under Win98 I suppose!

All the <br> and <p>&nbsp;</p> in my code were in the code of the menu I originally copied to create my menu. I assumed they were there because they belonged there! I agree it makes the page look pretty bad. Want to help me clean it up?

Wasn't trying to be a snot, mind you. It was just a polite reminder as I didn't see the number in your online code. Thanks for being a supporter!

Umm - not necessarily. With 3.x there are only the two files to worry about. Just flat out replace mmenu (nothing you should really be messing around with in there anyway), and then C/P your menus from the old setup into the new array. I always do a side-by-side of the old and new array to see if Andy has popped anything new in there.

Not unless you want to help me re-write the 50 or so personal pages I have online, and then the 300-400 pages I'm responsible for at work :!:

Oh NO! I am very sorry if it came across as if I thought that, I do not in the least! Sometimes I feel like I border on illiterate and I don't always come across as I mean to.

Thanks. Very much.

Um. Ah. Eh. Oh well, just thought I'd ask!

No, you didn't come across that way at all. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't :D
