trouble with frames

the sub menu does not open when source code in frame is not completely loaded (e.g. big pictures)

But this is only a internet explorer specific problem. Sub menu appears although frame has not completely loaded in opera browser or others.

What's wrong?

I don't have the problem since I don't have large graphics. Also, all the problems are usually the other way around for me who uses Netscape. Things seem to work in IE but not NS.

Andy explained one time how to preload menu images to get them into the cache (only necessary if one's menu design contains user images). I wonder too if there is a way for someone with your problem, i.e. having to wait for the whole page to load before the menu appears. I wonder if there is a way to prioritize the menu. /mfurf
