Milonic Menu & Fox News ticker in same window

I've tried everything to make this menu coexist with the news headline fader like the one on the foxnews.com site. I think it has to do with a conflict in the setTimeOut variable set in each app. Does anybody have a clue what I should look for to resolve in a situation like this?
