Background image based menu

A quick question about the background image based menu: How do you get it to work in netscape???? I can see and view everything in ie but not in netscape. Netscape appears to distort it. I am using my own images and not putting any dymanic text on them so the menu is just a bunch of images and links, nothing more. Netscape does not want to make the images appear though. Any thoughts?
