does the place menu work with netscape. all developement was done in IE and I just loaded NS6 and the menu jumps way to the left. not bound to the cell it was placed in.

This could be to do with alignment of the table cell.

Each browser reacts differently depending on how you have vertical and horizontal alignment so it's best to not have any at all.
