Vertical menus - bars and runtime errors

Fine product. 3 questions:
I have a perfect horizontal menu. When I vertical it, the separator bars dissappear. Why? And how can the titles be aligned left instead of centered?

Also, so I copied the headers_sample_array.js files to try this work-around out. I get "timegap undefined" errors when trying to view it locally. Why?

So, are there files for the vertical headers style menu on the Milonic homepage?

so I have found what I think are bugs, as with IE5.5 I cannot do more than 1 effect at a time, though the dl script contains them. Specifically, I cannot do both fades and shadows, and some progs have no lines in vertical mode.
