Menu & Mac OS X & IE

my menu shows relativly well in ms ie on windows,
fairly well in netscape (no special effects...but that's normal)

But shows up at a completely different place in ie on mac os x

(i have a horizontal menu placed in a table cell)

What i'm still looking for to find out is how to make the height of the cell fit to the height of the menu (in netscape it's ok, not in ie)

Any help is appreciated....

1) How to make the menu fit in the table cell...also in MAC IE on OS x
2) How to make the table cell fit to height of menu
