Images as Menu Backgrounds

This is the best javascript menu I've ever seen. It's very impressive. One feature not available that I would have use for, though, is the ability to use an image, rather than a color, as the background for a menu. Ideally, this background image could span behind all the elements in a menu, rather than have the same tiny portion of the background image be repeated behind each individual element.

Also, it would be great if elements, or at least header cells, could have an image inside them.
