menu not disappears in opera (W98) and Konqueror (Linux)

On my homepage the menu works under IE6 (W98) all well, but in Konqueror (Linux) and Opera (5.02, W98) the menu (placed at the top of the page) not disappears. I place the code after the bodytag (not in the head-section), but it didn't give the good result. The homepage is: http://www.xs4all.nl/~woek/vlaardingen/index.htm . Does anyone knows what I am doing wrong?

Additional info:Opera gives in mmenu.js a syntax error while loading (line 489)

It's unclear where the axe stands: or under the o of opacity, or under the ; between hidden and height.
