Opera doesnt display drop downs

Strange behaviour from Opera, since the menus on the milonic site work fine and i am using EXACTLY the same scripts as a test for my menu. The top menu shows but none of the drop downs do.
All other browsers show the menu as expected.
Also, when i resize the browser window the menu disappears and i have to refresh to bring it back. Is there a fix for this - like the Netscape resize/refresh fix?
