Multi column menu

I own a license to Milonic and like your menu.
My site is growing, and I want to build a menu system that is easy to use and has a lot of info in it.
I've looked at some mega drop down menus that offer columns and really like them.
Here is a popular example: http://www.sohtanaka.com/web-design/exa ... dropdowns/
Some other professional looking ones are here:
http://www.shop.puma.com/ (I like this one)
http://www.rei.com/ (very clean and a tremendous number of links)
I know you have a multi column sample listed, but I don't think what you offer will do what I am looking for.
I'd like to be able to control the number of elements in each column.
Do you have any other multi-column examples?
Thanks
Cliff

Hi,
Webplugs, our new menu product, can do Mega Menus.
If you let me have your menu data I'll be able to send you a demo.

Thanks Andy, I had signed up for the Webplugs beta, but the link I have to download no longer works.
Are you still letting people into the beta?
I don't really have all of the menu data yet, I just want to be able to start building a new menu for the site.
Thanks

I decided to remove the Webplugs list as too many people didn't quite understand how it worked.
Webplugs changes daily so a download from a few weeks ago will be out of date today. I'll see if I can get an auto system going.
At the moment I'm busy working on a showcase website using Webplugs but I'm happy that Webplugs is almost releasable so no reason why you can't use it.
I will get a demo Mega Menu Download published for you as soon as I can.

Thanks Andy, that would be terrific.
Not to be pushy, but any idea when? This week, this month...?
Thanks again.

Hoping for maybe later today or tomorrow.
If I've not got back to you by this time tomorrow, please give me a nudge.
And don't worry about being pushy, I really do need reminding these days, head's like a sieve at the moment - WAY too much going on.

Thanks again Andy, sorry to nudge again, but any idea when this might be released?
Not to be a pain, but I it’s going to be a while, then I’ll need to look for another solution.
Thanks, Cliff

No worries - sorry for the delay.
Download links are as follows:
http://www.milonic.net/webplugs-latest.zip
http://www.milonic.net/webplugs-latest.tar.gz
http://www.milonic.net/webplugs-latest.tar.bz2
Download one of the above (they are all the same files) Then extract and look in demos/html-drop-down-mega-menu.html
There's 2 styles, one is Puma, the other Racoon
Let me know what you think.

The megamenu is perfect!
Thank you
My preference is Puma, you did a really great job with this one.
I noticed a slight shift of the menu items on hover, I'll take a look in the css for that.
Did you say in the past that this would have a GUI to build the menus? That would make it perfect!
I have an active Milonic license, am I allowed to use this js on a live site?

OK, I played a little more, here is a test that will change before I even submit this post .
http://www.pathlabtalk.com/site_menu/te ... menu.html#
What files aside from the webplugs.js file in the webplugs folder do I need to upload? I noticed when I only uploaded the webplugs.js file, many elements didn't work.
When you view the demo I posted, you'll see Extras on the far right. Is there a way to have the sub-menu offset to the left when the parent item is positioned to the right and the drop down would cause a left to right scroll?
Again, this is just what I wanted, thank you!

Hi Andy,
I am trying to use this menu in a vBulletin forum. The li seems to be styled in the forum and i overwriting the styling for the menu.
Can you offer a css suggestion to correct this issue?
Thanks, Cliff
